This rustic cabin nestled in the woods with a stunning view of Bass Lake is one of the lake's true gems: it was built in the 1930's, and provides the authentic feel of a traditional family mountain vacation.
The home has been updated to cater to today's visitor: there’s central air and heat, wifi, smart TV, and the kitchen is outfitted with a gas range and refrigerator.
The separate bunkhouse can sleep 7 comfortably, and has two 1/2 baths and a shared shower.
There’s also a large deck, and this home comes with access to a slip in the boat dock which is a quick walk down the road.
There is a boat trailer parking space, and ample parking in front as you pull in. The empty lot next to the cabin is part of the cabin's property.
Beautiful Bass Lake lets you enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The home is near the Pines Village at the lake, which provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is about 7 miles away, with shopping, restaurants, bars, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away.
Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. As a reservoir owned by PG&E, Bass Lake reaches it’s peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered to 50% during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall. Boat docks/boat slip are not in the water year-round.
