It's about a 40-minute drive up the road to enter into the South entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. As a reservoir owned by PG&E, Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered to 50% during the fall and winter months annually.
