This cozy cottage is right on the shore of Bass Lake, and includes use of the large yard and the private boat dock for kayaking, paddle boarding or fishing.
The cabin is one of a kind, more than 100 years old! That shows on the outside, but the inside is cute as can be and very clean and comfortable.
The cottage has a kitchen, dining area, living room, and bathroom downstairs, and a loft with two beds upstairs.
The home has a new heater to take off the fall/winter chill, as well as a fireplace. There’s a new flat screen TV, and cable TV is included, as well as WiFi (which is spotty in the area).
You can practically step out the front door and into the water! And if you bring a kayak or jet ski, you can park it at the private dock or shore it at the property depending on lake level.
Beautiful Bass Lake lets you enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The home is near the Pines Village at the lake, which provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks.
The town of Oakhurst is about 7 miles away, with shopping, restaurants, bars, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away.
Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park.
As a reservoir owned by PG&E, Bass Lake reaches it’s peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered to 50% during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall. The boat docks may not in the water year-round, but the lake is still accessible from the property.
