Beautiful Bass Lake is also nearby, where you can enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The Pines Village at the lake provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks.

Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually.
